On January 4, 2012, the largest CS2 manufacturer in China, Liaoning Ruixing Chemical Group, formally starts a new CS2 project with annual capacity of 40,000 tons of carbon disulfide in his Hebei Company. The investment of the project is planned to be RMB 160,000,000. The project is expected to put into operation by the end of 2012. The world's most advanced high-pressure non-catalytic natural gas process is to be applied in the project. Total CS2 production capacity of Hebei Company will reach 100,000 tons annually after completion of the project.

On November, 2012, the cooperative project between Liaoning Ruixing Chemical Group and China Bluestar Adisseo Nanjing Co., Ltd with annual capacity of 50,000 tons of CS2 will also put into operation.

After that, the annual capacity of CS2 production of Liaoning Ruixing Chemical Group will reach 370,000 tons, to be the world largest CS2 manufacturing enterprise.
